Profile: Marshall Brody is the captain of a special covert action team known as the Napalm Force.

Following the arrest of Hector Vim, the team learned that he had sold a special prototype weapon known as the Electro-Magnetic Amplifier (E.M.A.) to a Stratford City gangster known as the Gooch. When Dasien recovered the weapon from Goldie, one of Gooch's agents, Brody immediately engaged in a joint investigation with the city's crime lab and conducting tests on the mechanism with the precinct's resourceful gadget guy, Dennis Ketcham.

Unfortunately, things have gone from bad to worse. Marshall watched in horror as his entire team fell before Rouge, and Dennis met his end when it with a stray bullet. And now the Crimson Gestalt has the E.M.A.!

Marshall continues his investigation alone, determined to work with local law enforcement and Dasien. He strives to keep military involvement out of the picture.

Special Skills: Marshall lacks special powers, but he does have courage and bravery on his side. He considers himself to be a classic brawler, using nothing but his fists to do his dirty work. Marshall may not be fancy, but he's never lost a fight.

Background: Marshall Brody is a product of the Gulf War. He's also mildly inspired by wrestler Sid Vicious. He was originally dubbed Captain Napalm, but I started using his "real name" Marshall Brody after the name popped up in a Calvin and Hobbes comic. I wasn't fearful of being sued, but I changed out of respect for Bill Watterson.

Name Meanings and Puns: Marshall Brody - Inspired by actor/magician Marshall Brodien, who is known for playing Wizzo the Wacky Wizard on the Bozo Show and selling his TV Magic Cards in the 80s. The two Marshalls have practically nothing in common, but sometimes you get cool character names from weird places.
