Okay, Noelle wins major brownie points for this! The most insane fan girl in the world not only stuck with me when I restarted my comic... not only drew more fan art than anyone else... not only remained enthusiastic during my months of laziness... Now she's gone and done the insane! She's given me the one thing that webcomic artists don't normally have: COSPLAY!
Yes! Noelle is cosplaying as my favorite Dasien character of all, Parker Lynn Bailey! And my fucking god, she looks awesome! She's got Parker's confidence done to perfection!
Isn't that scary? She looks so much like the character, that she could actually be Parker Lynn Bailey. Maybe Noelle can be my official Parker, like they do with Lara Croft, and she could attend comic conventions where she portrays the character.
You hear that, Noelle? Start taking American English accent lessons. Your career has been cemented!
Unfortunately, not all of Noelle's pictures came out as planned. This one came out rather blurry, and I've got it as sharpened as I possible could without completely ruining the picture.
Noelle's mom was holding the camera here and doesn't appear to know that it helps to set the camera on top of a stationary object. Alas, I have the same blur issues with my digital camera. It's very difficult to get a clean picture of stuff up close.
The token picture taken in the mirror. Again, the picture suffers from major blurring, but it's so awesome that I had to include it anyway. I thought this pose looked really good.
Noelle claims that the blurriness contributes to the how good the pictures look. She's very modest, you see, and won't admit that she looks good as the character. All I need to do is direct your attention to the first pic in this group, and you'll see that she still looks great when there's no blurring at all!
Noelle makes a fantastic Parker! She can't tell me any different!
So there you have it! My first official cosplay! I'm so proud. Now, I wonder if there are any insane Dasien fangirls out there that are willing to dethrone Noelle as the Queen of Dasien Fandom. I think one good cosplay of Dasien herself would do the trick.
